Her nickname is “Chill,” and on the golf course she seems to have ice-water in her veins. She is a gorgeous rising star on the LPGA tour. Now she can add a police record to her resume!

Rachel Louise Connor and Ryan Patrick O'Shea, a minor league player with the Baltimore Orioles both were arrested within hours of each other for DUI in Florida this week. This reported in the Herald Tribune.

Connor had been at a restaurant and nightclub. O'Shea had been drinking at the public beach on Siesta.

Connor was the first to be arrested. Incidentally, former NFL star and Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George was in the passenger seat of Connor's car.

Shortly after 2 a.m., a deputy for Sarasota County reported Connor’s car going about 40 mph in a 20 mph zone.

The officer “smelled a very strong odor of alcoholic beverage” and identified Connor, a 21-year-old with a Bradenton condo as her address, as the driver.

Reports stated that Connor failed walking and counting tests and that her blood alcohol level on a jail breath monitor registered at .133 and .137, well above the legal limit of .08.

Connor admitted to having two vodka cranberry drinks. While alcohol affects everyone differently, that is total hooey! This golfer definitely needs a Florida alcohol class!

Once again celebrities and athletes get themselves in trouble with alcohol. The best prescription to keep this from happening again is to not drink.
